What is the procedure to consign my furniture?
- E-mail us a picture of your item(s) to Ladies { at } ChurchLadiesDuluth ( . ) com or bring small items by during regular business hours.
- Pricing is always a decision made in partnership with our consignors, but condition, style, manufacturer’s reputation, and original purchase price are all factors in the pricing equation. We are confident that you will find that our pricing formula will appeal to your bargain hunting senses.
- Pricing Schedule
- first month – full price
- second month – 10% markdown
- third month – 20% markdown
- After 90 days you have the option to pick up unsold item(s). Unclaimed items will become the property of Church Ladies.
How much can I expect to get for my items?
You will receive 50% of the actual selling price excluding sales tax
What do you accept for consignment?
We accept gently used furniture and accessories from most time periods, but it must be in very good condition – no stains, tears, chips, etc. Church ladies reserves the right to refuse any furnishing for any reason at any time.
What about pick up or delivery services?
Church Ladies can provide you names of preferred delivering services that can pick up or deliver your furniture. However, it is up to you to make all arrangements with the independent service including scheduling and cost.
How do I get paid?
Checks will be written on the 15th of each month for the prior months sales. You may come by the store to pick up your check, or arrangements can be made for mailing.
